What is health?

Heath the meaning of Heath Is changed time By time keeping the perspective of how our body functions, health was before defined as “physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity”. By WHO in 1948

But now the definition is changed it says that “the extent to which an individual or group is able to realize aspirations and satisfy needs and to change or cope with the environment. Health is a resource for everyday life, not the of living; it is a positive concept, emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities”.

The definition is really huge but it’s telling you to realise your aspiration and to satisfy your need in the changing environment health is a resource and it’s not and objective, its the resource for everyday life not for living.

The circumference of waist can be used to predict the health risk of individual than BMI, Having fat around waist or “belly fat” makes you to more likely get the obesity- related disease

Studies have shown that the distribution of body fat is associated with an increased prevalence of diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and cardiovascular disease.
